We just received this message from Iacob who runs the home building project for very poor in Transylvania, Romania.
“Here are the some pictures from Dumitra. In the first days of December the family moved into the new house and all members of the family are extremely happy. They asked me to pass on to you this message, “Thank you very very much for this wonderful house.”
Since this is a remote place where they lived in what was almost a cave, we added panels, which has meant they have electricity at 220 V. Also included in the build was a tank that collect water automatically from a spring and, with the pump system, provides water inside. All this is without ongoing costs.
On the top floor is a dormitory for the children, but the adults also like to sleep there because is warm and nice to stay there.
Now, they will experience the best Christmas of their life, and they recognise that this house is a miracle of God. Through all this God has spoken to them and I hope they will receive God into their lives.”
Building a home like this for another very poor family is possible if Grassroots receives more funds. £5000 is enough to get the next home built!
