Today was the visiting team's last full day in Mbeya. Tomorrow we leave for Dar es Salaam at 6am. Then 12+ hours on the bus. We should arrive at around 8pm.
Saying goodbye to friends is never easy. It has been a busy day.
Great to be in church! The team sang a song and joined in the various dances.
After lunch we jumped in the truck for one last location where a number of children and their families were waiting to be enrolled on the sponsorship scheme. The children were so excited and the parents thrilled to receive the help sponsorship brings.
We have taken on almost 200 new children and have at least another 200 on the waiting list!
Sadly a member of the church died yesterday. We went along to the wake for a short time. Extraordinary to be there. Big crowd around the house. Even more crying inside. Hard.
We are now back at the Karibuni Centre. A few minutes to do last minute data entry and then off to bed…

Thinking of you on the bus, esp anyone not feeling well – its a long trip but time to ponder on all you have seen and done. God has used you well. Great photos – good to see you, Janet, and hear your laughter in my mind!
