DAY 3: Another great day with students from Bishop Luffa. Day started with getting measured for a garment. Then we split into different groups. Giving out grants to 500 + secondary students sponsored by Grassroots. Blowing up balls to give away next week. Making water filters and visiting 3 of the 15 feeding programmes happening around MBEYA today. Currently learning to dance Tanzanian style then we will be ready to watch England v Belgium…. good day

DAY 1: Lots of fun today. The group split into two and visited local secondary schools. A number of lessons were enjoyed together. Great to be able to chat with Tanzanian students and enjoy a song and dance together! Then a visit to one of the many feeding programme. The team got stuck in with serving the food and helping to wash the little children’s hands. Oh and of course playing with the many children now attaching themselves to their new friends. Before returning to base a visit to the market to buy Tanzanian material as each team member will have a garment made for them….. look out for Mr Thomas and his new suit coming soon……. great day, great team
