Tuesday:
Busy day interviewing children in Chennai. Sorry I was rather caught up taking sponsorship photos so did not get many I can actually share with you. What an honour it is to help provide some basic life changing stuff for children and their families. Some of the stories make you weep, living conditions leave you just lost for words, snakes and rats make me run. These wonderful friendly people have nowhere to run. But we can run to them and help a little. Pictures of sally measuring children’s height and letters to sponsors being done. Will send more tomorrow. Thank you for your prayers x
Thursday:
More interviews with children in Chennai today. Oh and of course the daily feeding programme for over 300 very excited children. The noise is amazing! Love the team here who serve the children week in week out. As the younger ones leave and quiet begins to return ( the lack of noise is somehow very noisy) the older teenagers sit down to eat and chat before doing their homework for the evening. All in all a very satisfying site in the church.
