I have spent the last few months promoting a quiz night in aid of water projects for Grassroots Tanzania.
I asked local companies for raffle prizes. I got around 20 prizes including a bouquet, aquarium tickets, dance classes, champagne and clothes from Fat Face. Such generosity. People are amazing.
Last night we set up the hall and were overwhelmed by the number of people who arrived, almost 100!
Dad sold over 300 raffle tickets, a local wrestler was our quiz host asking the questions and 3 of us marked the sheets between rounds.
it was a really successful evening. The winning team took home a chocolate treats hamper and local veg box and we raised £703.50!!
