So excited. On Monday a team from the UK (mostly students from Park Community School in Havant and their teachers) with a group of Tanzanian Universitry students (all of whom have been sponsored via Grassroots since they were little) went with Sharon Anson and Richard Mwasala (the Grassroots Project Director in Tanzania) to Ndala.
Ndela is part of a small rural town called Tukuyu that is about an hour’s drive from Mbeya toward Kyela (on the Malawi border). Ndela will be the second Grassroots centre to be started in Tukuyu. Both centres are based in new churches that are being extablished by the “Stable Pentecostal Church”.
The Tanzanian Uni students lead most of the interviews with the children that were being enrolled onto the Grassroots child sponsorship scheme.
