Lots of variety today…
We’ve had a good day following up children who had not turned up for interview.
This happens for a number of reasons: communication failure so they didnt know the right day, lack of parental guidence, illness of parent/guardian or child, or they may have moved away. Some are away visiting but will return.
Then the feeding programmes. Different parts of the team went to different ones. We helped cooking and serving. The children washed their hands in water supplies or filtered systems provided by your donations. Then they ate a hearty meal.
It has been fun having Julia Palmer with us as resident artist. We’ll post some of her pictures soon. She is doing sketches in Tanzania and experimenting with ideas. A process of fermentation. We’ll let you know as they come to fruition so you can come and see them.
