What
Many young people leave home and come to Tenerife seeking adventure within the night life scene which is open all year round - the party lifestyle never stops. Alcohol and drugs are rife: many of these young people end up in a mess, their lives spiralling out of control.

The team, with God's help, are doing something positive. Three nights a week we visit the bar and club workers, building relationships, offering friendship, love, care and practical help in the name of Jesus. We also have a drop in centre - the Living Room - situated in the heart of the night life scene. It's an amazing place with a special atmosphere where young people can come to relax, play pool, drink coffee and chat about their lives in a safe environment. Relationships are built here and there is a great community spirit.

Over the years, many have come to Christ and moved forward with their lives. Some have gone through rehab, got their lives restored and gone on to serve God by helping others in need. The work continues to grow with the help of God's grace, the prayers of God's people, practical support and help from local churches and the consistency of the team. We're always looking for those the Lord is calling into this exciting work and those called to pray or give. It could be you!

Visit Us
If you are in Tenerife and are happy to join in with the fun at the Living Room then turn up Tuesday to Friday from 4-7pm - but please understand the team are working then. If you'd like to meet the team and hear what's going on, we suggest coming to our weekly prayer and update meeting on Friday at 2.30pm. It's easy to find us. Ask a taxi to take you to Veronicas, then look for the stairs on the right side of Burger King. Keeping walking up the stairs past the lapdancing club.

Pray with us
Every couple of weeks we send out an email outlining those people who need prayer and keeping the wider prayer team fed with information and news. Support Us Financially
Both the Living Room property and the various team members are always desperately in need of financial support. You can give one off amounts and or use standing orders. If you are a UK tax payer please also gift aid your donation. The form is available here, or you can give by credit card here. Please make sure you say whether your donation is for a specific person, part of the ministry or can be used where most needed.

Mission Trips
We have also have regular teams join us in prayer and ministry for a week. These will happen every month through 2012 - more info here. Summer Project 2012!!

We want to see loads of people join us in Tenerife in the Living Room ministry during Summer 2012.

We are LAUNCHING this with a special week of training, prayer and relationship building on the streets. So put 30 June to 9 July in your schedule! Then plan to stay a few weeks longer.

The launch week will include regular worship, prayer ministry, training about our philosophy of ministry, loads of chatting with people during the nights and days....

The first week will cost £450 (including flights, insurance, transport in Tenerife, food and accommodation - assuming you've no pre-existing medical conditions). Each week after that will cost £200. A full month (4 weeks) will be £1000. (You could join us after the first launch week but we recommend making that week a priority if you can!). This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
