In Romania we are partnering with BENITA - a charity that helps very poor families. As well as sponsoring the children we also desperately need help with giving the families housing, water facilities and simple ways to get food to eat or a means to earn a living - often achieved by giving crops or livestock. For each family we try to tailor make the help we give to their specific need. We build or renovate about 3 houses a year. Each house needs wood for roofing, nails, cement, labour, wood stoves and bricks for chimneys.

Take a look through these alternative gifts. If you buy one we will give that item to a very poor family in Romania. We will also send you a certificate to give to a loved one for a birthday, Christmas or some other kind of present.
